Come and celebrate the 125th year of Lock 34 in Fenelon Falls on August 7th. Beginning with a delicious pancake breakfast and continuing with a special dedication of the rebuilt Lockmaster's Watch House on the island at Lock 34. Bring the whole family! After the official procession to the Lock with First Nations canoes and our own Kawartha Spirit, a presentation will be made and the historic house dedicated. There's so much more to see and do...There will be a display of antique boats and outboard motors, a tug-of-war competition and lots to see and do. The Kawartha Kavaliers will play and there will be on-stage entertainment as well. There will be a radio-controlled boat pool for kids of all ages and a Bunny Petting area. Come for the fun, meet your neighbours and enjoy the celebration. Also, the "Trent tug" will arrive in Fenelon for the day. Watch for the heritage "stilt-walker", bring the kids for mega-bubble fun and a clown! Have a piece of celebration cake as well. You can take a Horse Drawn Wagon to the Fenelon Fair and back. And, at 6:00pm, the park will come alive with the music of Lock Jam. It's all happening in Fenelon Falls - Saturday, August 7th.
