About the Chamber

The Fenelon Falls & District Chamber of Commerce membership represents businesses, organizations and individuals located within the village and surrounding communities.  F.F.& D.C.C. is a member in good standing of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and is an organization of dedicated volunteers who are concerned about the economic health of the area.  Our Mission Statement: "The mission of the Fenelon Falls and District Chamber of Commerce is to foster a positive, inclusive business environment while promoting sustainable economic growth".

Our office is located in the "Tourist Information Centre", just a short walk from Lock 34.

We are open twelve months of the year, with extended hours during the peak tourist season.  The office provides a promotional centre by displaying brochures and business cards, responding to telephone enquiries and greeting and assisting visitors. As a member, businesses receive a listing in the Focus on Fenelon Falls a full colour, convenient digest size publication that is designed to promote businesses, events and attractions to local residents, cottagers and visitors, throughout the year. With distribution of 20,000 copies, the "Focus" is available at various Chambers of Commerce, Trade Shows, Infopic locations, main border crossings and City of Kawartha Lakes - Tourism & Economic Development Department. Major locations along the 401 corridor are also targeted for further exposure.  The Chamber staff respond to all requests for copies.

The Chamber plays host to major events such as the Annual Home & Cottage Show held on the first weekend in May, Santa Day and Night Time Parade held the last Saturday in November.  Midnight Madness kicks off the summer season.  Canada Day celebrations take place at Garnet Graham Beach Park. This celebration is followed by an exciting fireworks display that can be viewed from the beach or on board the Kawartha Spirit cruising Cameron lake.  In addition, the Chamber organizes and sponsors beautification and improvement initiatives throughout the village.
